Oscar-winning musician Ryan Bingham is heading toward Australia and New Zealand this April.
Bingham was born in New Mexico and now lives in Los Angeles. He has earned critical acclaim with a string of albums, Mescalito (2007), Roadhouse Sun (2009), Junky Star in 2010 and 2012’s Tomorrowland. Ryan co-wrote and performed “The Weary Kind,” the theme song for the film Crazy Heart.
Bingham will be returning to Australia and New Zealand this spring for an acoustic band tour, presented by Round Up and Live Nation.
Ryan will be joined by his fiddle player Richard Bowden, as well as his lead guitar player, Daniel Sproul for his first headlining tour on these shores.
I’ve seen Bingham perform twice – with a full band in Austin TX and a brilliant acoustic set with Bowden at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in San Francisco. The latter was in fact one of my top shows for 2013.
All tickets go ON SALE Monday, February 8. Click the venue names below for more info to the shows.
Telstra Thanks will be holding a pre-sale for all its customers from now to Thurs Feb 4 at the link below:
