Catherine Traicos is a singer/songwriter based in Sydney Australia (via Zimbabwe and Perth) with a gifted voice.
A new album Brave The Good Dark will be released on January 31 2016 and the first sign of any of the new material is the video below, just out, for a song called “Stolen Wings”.
From all reports Traicos has weathered a turbulent couple of years since her previous album, 2013’s The Earth, The Sea, The Moon, The Sky. The new song was born out of that journey.
“Art can be alchemy,” she says. “You can take a negative and leaden personal experience and transform it through music … into something completely golden that can be shared with others.”
