The Nouveaux Honkies are originally from Florida, but these days they call the road their home. This Americana duo literally travel around in an RV, which is pretty convenient when you happen to also be touring on a regular basis. Their new album Blues For Country, reflects the rambling life with its melting pot take on American roots music ranging from bluegrass to honky tonk, rock and roll to R&B, and everything in between. It works too, as Tim O’Donnell and Rebecca Dawkins capture the humdrum groove of the road, always moving forward whether through a fiddle or a quickly picked guitar.
