Blue Wheel Drive is a high energy, hard driving bluegrass band that is based out of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Asheville, North Carolina. The band is keeping the future of bluegrass music alive with hot instrumental playing and tight harmony singing inspired by the traditional music stylings of Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, Jimmy Martin, Charlie Moore, Don Reno, and the Stanley Brothers. Formed around the vibrant Asheville music scene, Blue Wheel Drive’s lineup consists of the heartfelt lead and tenor singer Rob Sine playing guitar, U.S. Army Band veteran Rob Parks singing lead/tenor and playing upright bass, CMH Records recording artist Rudi Ekstein playing mandolin and singing baritone, and features the Spruce Pine, North Carolina bluegrass music prodigy Billy Constable on banjo.
