Edward David Anderson returns with his second solo album, Lower Alabama: The Loxley Sessions. The nine-track effort is the most stripped-down and roots-based album to date by EDA who’s also known for his work with the late great midwest rock band Backyard Tire Fire. The record is produced by Anthony Crawford (Neil Young, Steve Winwood, Dwight Yoakam) and features stunning harmonies from his wife Savana Lee, ghostly guitar parts from Willie Sugarcapps bandmate Will Kimbrough, as well as beautiful fiddle and pedal steel playing from Crawford himself.
