One of the best lyricists around (named America’s best songwriter by Time Magazine in 2002) and one of the most passionate and soulful singers you will ever hear – three-time Grammy winner, alt.country and Americana troubadour Lucinda Williams will return to Australia later in the year for a national tour.
The American will play two headline shows in December – one in Sydney, two in Melbourne and one in Hobart and she will also be on the bill at the winery stages for Paul Kelly’s A Day On The Green project – The Merri Soul Sessions tour.
Williams’ shows are not to be missed. I’ve seen her enough times to know that we are in for a treat, and she will be showcasing her beautiful double album (and eleventh studio release), Down Where the Spirit Meets the Bone.
