After Sheesham & Lotus & Son toured the UK for the first time in 2014, it was as if a hurricane had just swept through, with crowds left exhilarated and thrilled to have experienced such a barnstorming and hugely-entertaining show.

Reviewers were glowing in their praise and promoters too, sent out messages that clearly spelled out to others that this truly was a must-see act.

After they played The Atkinson Theatre in Southport, Peter Cowley crowned them “the New Kings of old-time," and writing for AmericanaUK about their sold-out show at Selby Town Hall, Rudie Humphrey said: “The auditorium was packed, and there was so much applause and the end of the first set, it was like they wanted an encore at the intermission – amazing!”

Chris Jones who books the venue and has promoted some of the biggest names on the circuit, said: “We had a blast. Best act I've put on in a very, very long time.”

Not surprisingly, there are many who are keen to catch them in action again and we are delighted to be bringing them back for a string of dates in September.
