I call it the best roots festival I won’t be going to this year…
Seriously, I was there in 2014 and it was a blast. The line-up was brilliant, the format of two alternate stages running end-to-end, the beautiful surrounds, crazy shiny people, and the food all contributed to a terrific event. While not being able to go this year, it’s definitely in my sights for 2016.
Now, the alright-already great line-up has been augmented by NEEDTOBREATHE, Dr. John, Justin Townes Earle, and Irma Thomas. Here’s the poster with the full artist list and the just-announced schedule for the three days follows.
