Released in 2006, Ten Silver Drops, the second album from Secret Machines was one of our favourites of that, and any subsequent year. A masterpiece of spacey widescreen guitars, prog and krautrock, it was an album that was constantly on repeat.
Although the record has been out of print for more than ten years, Ten Silver Drops will be reissued on 180g heavyweight vinyl in expanded format with extra tracks. The limited edition release includes a bonus LP of B-sides and rarities from the Allaire Sessions making their debut on vinyl.
Amongst the B-sides is their cover of Gillian Welch’s Everything Is Free, which originally appeared on the band’s UK only single of All At Once (It’s Not Important).
