Thoroughly enjoying these tracks from Canada’s Lonely Parade.
Olive Green is the fourth song to be shared from upcoming long player The Pits and is a fabulous mix of wiry post-punk and disaffected Sonic Youth style dissonance. The propulsive, cascading guitar line is underpinned by an off-kilter rhythmic emphasis, performing an unusual call and response with the bass line, before giving way to a driving wordless chorus.
