Betty & The Boy suddenly captured everyone’s imagination in the USA after winning the “Best Band” category in the State of Oregon.
They have been making an impact over here as well, their last record grabbing the attention of many reviewers and radio presenters. "There's something ancient and modern about this - kinda Elizabethan and Americana too," said Frank Hennessy at BBC Radio Wales, while Cherrie McIlwaine of BBC Radio Ulster, played tracks over and over and told listeners it was “lovely stuff!”
